Zoom Zoom

I know, I have been soooo remiss the past few weeks. We just finished our first week back in Brooklyn and P often says he's glad to be home. "Are you, Mama? Are you glad to be home?" Then he asks when we can visit Kansas again :)

He says he missed his scooter and is glad to be car-less again. We concur. Those scooters have become such a part of our existence that I actually felt concern heading back to Kansas without them. How would we get around? But since P generally won't leave the house before lunch yet sleeps in a car anytime after 1 in the afternoon (and wakes up Miserable from naps) we pretty much camped out on the farm thereby solving that dilemma...

So, despite his giddy appreciation upon wakening surrounded by his old toys (our planes were all jacked up and we arrived home well after P zonked) he quickly said he wanted to go scoot. We headed to the corner deli with P zipping along just as quickly as a month ago.

He was also happy to return to his bike. And as he rode it day after day this week I finally realized I have no bike video. The one below is fairly shoddy, I'll get off my lazy ass for a better angle next time :) But you can see he's really zooming, completely balanced on his two wheels, riding off into the sunset without even looking back. The kid certainly digs speed. The other blonde eyed biker is P's buddy Yoav. Now that Yoav's family is just a couple of blocks away we can see them all the time!
